James Dolan is an experimental artist who works in the intersection between live art and installation. James is interested in using scenographic practice to make worlds and think through what ‘world’ means. He explores and practices the way in which design can create times and spaces beyond our own.

I think of my work as dialoguing with chaos in various ways. I enjoy the strange, the otherworldly - and the lessons they can teach us.
